Starting an Erasmus+ Experience

This blog is a collection of experiences lived by The English School teachers and staff during Erasmus+ mobilities 2019-2020.

The English School wants to continue project work that promotes well-being, experimental development of the school, and pedagogical solutions in technology, for instance Makers' Movement. The base for it all is strengthening bilingual education and supporting the European dimension in a school where many pupils and teachers come from outside the EU.

We acquire and disseminate knowledge about soft-skills support in learning: time management, teamwork, support for personal strengths, coaching and skills for being present. Experimental development means acquiring new pedagogical and didactic skills.

The learnings will be disseminated through local, national and international networks. Management work is decentralized, giving more resources to create and go through the project, as well as to implement the new high school curriculum reform. We will use new technology more extensively in teaching, and find pedagogical and didactic tools that empower students to explore, use, and develop technological solutions with Makers' Movement.

There will be some 19 mobilities for representatives of the administration, primary school, lower secondary school and high school teachers.

The project will be carried out during summer 2019, academic year 2019-2020 and summer 2020.
